Blocks

New to the Bling Garage, we have custom made sanding blocks for fellow restorers! We have produced these blocks with comfort and ease of use in mind - we understand that rubbing panels for hours on end can be a painstaking job, so we hope to make the process a little more comfortable for you.

These are handmade in small batches in Perth, Western Australia by our team from locally sourced materials right here in Perth.  We have tried and tested our blocks on our own workshop restoration projects, so we know they will help you to achieve the highest level of detail when sanding your own bodywork. 

The sanding base comes in a range of thicknesses to provide varying levels of flexibility to conform to a cars shapes and curves as required. Each block has a comfortable, soft grip foam handle which makes it easy to hold and apply just the right amount of pressure as needed.

"Blocks" by The Bling Garage are perfect for beginners and the most experienced professional. They will be your new "go to" sanding block for any professional spray painters, panels beaters, restoration specialists, or the classic car enthusiast chipping away at that project or hobby.

The range includes 4 different flexibility levels:

Super flexi - our most flexible block, combining a 3mm thick sanding base with flexi grey handle. 

Flexi - 3mm thick sanding base with black foam handle. 

Semi rigid - 6mm thick sanding base with black foam handle

Rigid - Our most rigid block, combining a 10mm thick sanding base with black foam handle.  

All of our blocks can be used with the widely available "Stick-it" self adhesive type sandpaper rolls in the common size of 70mm. All block bases are 70mm wide.
